Crytek Hiring For An “Unannounced AAA Title”

More signs that the company is working on big things.

It’s been an interesting few weeks for Crytek. They have had a recent update for their onoging shooter, Hunt: Showdown, with eventual hopes to go full cross-play, and there’s been coy teases that some kind of Crysis revival is in the works. Well, now a job listing points to some big things in the company’s future.

The listing popped up on the company’s official site and is for a Technical Director. In the very first line it says that the position will be for an as of now unannounced and unspecified AAA title. There’s obviously nothing else here information-wise, but it does confirm the company has something big in the oven.

Could this be related to all these Crysis teases? Maybe a full blown Crysis 4? Or perhaps a new IP altogether? Usually hiring a Technical Director means the project is probably in some early stages, so it could be awhile before we know. Either way, looks like Crytek is ready for another big release down the road.
