What a wonderful end to Cuphead's development story.

Cuphead

Cuphead is a marvelous game and a heart warming success story- the two brothers who gambled everything on this game ultimately found success and recognition beyond their wildest dreams, as Cuphead not only became hugely successful, but also walked home with two awards at The Game Awards last night, including Best Artstyle and Best Indie Game.

And now, Studio MDHR has been given another honor it might not ever have expected- no less than Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau himself has congratulated them on their victory last night. Seriously- posting on his Twitter account, Trudeau congratulated had & Jared Moldenhauer, who are in fact of Canadian origin, for their achievements.

What a heartwarming end to this story- and the two brothers are mad talented, and Cuphead was a labor of love. I can’t wait to see where they go next- and while we wait for that, do be sure to play through Cuphead if you haven’t already. It’s on Xbox One and PC.
