CyberPunk 2077 News May Be Incoming

It all starts with a beep...

CyberPunk 2077 has been a long time coming- it’s actually been years since it was first announced (back before even The Witcher 3 was!), and we haven’t actually seen or heard much of it since. However, it looks like CD Projekt RED may be getting ready to share something about the game with us some time soon.

The official Twitter account for the game, which was made a while ago, has been inert since 2015- today, for the first time in three years, a Tweet was posted to it. The actual tweet is absolutely meaningless, just a cute little *beep*, but posting using the account now makes no sense, unless they intend to draw attention to it again- and why would you do that? Only if you plan on actually using it again.

It might be a stretch- but at the same time, it’s not all that unreasonable to expect that the marketing cycle for Cyberpunk may begin this year, even if the game itself is due out next year. Hopefully, we will find out more at E3.
