Namco Bandai has announced that Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss DLC is now available on consoles. It was first released on the PC bundled with the Prepare to Die Edition, and was announced for consoles at a later date.

The full DLC along with the game will be available at retailers under the same name as the PC version for consoles as well. The new DLC adds new bosses, new levels, and also some tweaks and fixes which really enhances the overall experience.

We reviewed the PC version of the game and glowing score. You can read that here. The DLC costs $15 for PS3 and 1200 MSP for the Xbox 360.

“Imagine walking on a narrow piece of land surrounded by water on both sides, with a seemingly hostile atmosphere that keeps you on your toes,” I wrote in the review.

“You know something is going to happen but you don’t know when, or what is going to give you the beating of your life. As you are cautiously walking, checking your surroundings for any enemies that may pop up, a massive Hydra appears. You stand there stunned with no idea what to do, whether to run or face the giant behemoth. You finally make up your mind and run and take shelter in a tree, only to be smacked senselessly by a giant walking Mushroom. Welcome to Dark Souls.”

Excited? You should be, because this game is awesome. Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
