Namco Bandai Europe today announced that the PC version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition has made its way to retailers, as well as Steam and Games For Windows Marketplace in both Europe and Australasia.

This ‘enhanced’ edition has been specifically designed to catered for the hungry PC gamer, whilst keeping what made Dark Souls great, great. Including an additional PVP mode allowing players to fine tune and tweak battles against each other in online bouts to the death, a much pined-for feature. Dark Souls’ day one edition also contains an art book, original soundtrack, behind-the-scenes DVD, poster and postcards.

Prepare to Die contains new maps, environments, bosses, NPCs and enemies, as well as new armour and weapons, making a return to Lordran all the more enjoyable.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition comes to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 26th October.
