Including an additional PVP mode allowing players to fine tune and tweak battles against each other in online bouts to the death, a much pined-for feature. Dark Souls’ day one edition also contains an art book, original soundtrack, behind-the-scenes DVD, poster and postcards.

Prepare to Die contains new maps, environments, bosses, NPCs and enemies, as well as new armour and weapons, making a return to Lordran all the more enjoyable.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition comes to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 26th October.
