Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls Remastered, which was originally announced back in the Nintendo Direct Mini in January, got its very first gameplay footage today- at least for the Nintendo Switch version, during the Nintendo Direct. The Switch version looks to be like an enhanced version of the PS3 and Xbox 360 games (presumably, the Xbox One and PS4 versions will have a bigger visual upgrade).

Amusingly enough, a Dark Souls amiibo has also been announced- Solaire, whom you may better know as “the praise the sun guy”, will be getting his own Amiibo, launching day and date with Dark Souls Remastered itself.

Make sure to check out the gameplay footage for Dark Souls Remastered on the Nintendo Switch for yourself below. Dark Souls Remastered launches on May 23; it will be available on the Switch, as well as on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (those versions will have better graphics, but obviously no portability or amiibo functionality). A beta test for the game will also be held for all platforms ahead of the remaster’s launch.
