Dark Souls Remastered Nintendo Switch Version Gets Off Screen Footage

Prepare to die on the go.

So far, we’ve seen very little of the Nintendo Switch version of the upcoming Dark Souls Remastered. While some footage for the Switch version was released during the last Nintendo Direct, most of the footage Bandai Namco has released has come from the game running on the PS4 Pro.

However, at PAX East, the Switch version of the game was being exhibited. GameXplain managed to catch some of that off screen footage and share it on YouTube (which you can see for yourself below)—it actually looks surprisingly good. The Switch, of course, is a far more capable machine than the Xbox 360 and PS3, which I think people tend to forget a lot of times, but I’m still a little surprised at how good the game looks.

Of course, this is just for the docked version of the game—I can only hope it scales down well to handheld mode as well. Dark Souls Remastered will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25.
