Darksiders 3 Developer Explains The Game’s Combat And Enemies In This New Video

Also discusses the game's graphical style.

Darksiders 3 was revealed recently, and everything we have seen and heard of it so far looks to be immensely exciting. And now, in a new video made with IGN, developer Gunfire Games’ president David Adams discusses what we know of the game so far a little more.

In this video, which you can see for yourself below, Adams discusses the game’s combat, its enemies, and the footage that we have seen of it so far. He also brings up the dramatic change in graphical direction in this game, noting that this was a deliberate decision. “We wanted to have a lot more contrast visually. A lot of the stuff in Darksiders is very brown, and dark, and dreary. We wanted to have areas that were more lush…we wanted to expand the palette of colours and stuff like that within the game.”

I cannot say I disagree with that decision at all. Darksiders 3 is due out next year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
