Darksiders 3 was leaked earlier this morning, but it’s official already- a brand new announcement trailer for the game was revealed by publisher THQ Nordic and developer Gunfire Games via IGN, which confirms the long awaited third entry in the dark action adventure franchise at long last.

“After countless rumors, a major catalogue acquisition, and even a corporate re-brand, the team at THQ Nordic is thrilled to finally confirm plans for Darksiders 3,” said Lars Wingefors, Co-Founder and Group CEO at THQ Nordic.

The new game will be set around the same time chronologically as Darksiders 2, and will Fury’s quest to destroy physical versions of of the Seven Deadly Sins. It also seems like it will continue to stick to the Zelda template that has made the series so popular. You can check out the trailer for yourself below to see what the new game will look like. It is due out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018.
