Darksiders II is a Wii U launch title

THQ has announced that the recently released Darksiders 2 will also be releasing on the Wii U as a launch title.

The game will use the Wii U’s Gamepad and its touch screen to display objectives and maps, as is very predictable, and will also use the gyroscopic functionalities of the system to help players evade enemy attacks, control the character during swimming and riding sequences and manipulate objects in the game world.

Ryan Stefanelli, Producer of Darksiders II commented: “We are delighted that Wii U owners will be able to experience the vast world of Darksiders II at launch. The unique Wii U GamePad adds a whole world of possibility that we will be taking advantage of in this title.”
