Phoenix Labs’ free to play action RPG continues to move from one milestone to another. Just a couple days back, we reported that the game had accumulated a total of 4 million players within days of its launch. It’s now hit the next landmark, with the developers having taken to Twitter to confirm that that figure now stands at 5 million.

In a follow up tweet, Phoenix Labs also confirmed that they’d increased the server capacity of the game yet again to make room for more players, and that they’re already at work to increase that capacity further still (though there’s no word on when the next bump will happen). Meanwhile, overall queue sizes for the co-op monster hunting title have also been decreased.

Dauntless launched on May 21 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and became the first game ever to launch with full cross-platform play and cross-progression functionalities across all three platforms. Phoenix Labs are also working on Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android versions of the game- stay tuned for more info about them.
