Mintrocket’s Dave the Diver was one of the biggest surprise hits of the year, and though PlayStation audiences have been unable to dive into its offerings up to this point, that will be changing soon. At Sony’s recent State of Play presentation, it was announced that Dave the Diver will be launching for PS5 and PS4 sometime in April. A specific release date hasn’t yet been announced.

That’s not all though, because more new content is also on the way for the acclaimed adventure game. Mintrocket has also announced a new Godzilla DLC, which will bring the terrifying King of the Monsters to the game, allowing players to dive into the depths of the Blue Hole to take it on. The DLC will arrive sometime in May, and it will be available to all players for free.

Dave the Diver is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It has sold over 3 million units as of earlier this month. Read our review of the game through here.
