David Cage Explains why HR Chronicles Was Put On Hold

Posted By | On 02nd, Jul. 2010

Many fans of Heavy Rain have been wondering what the hell is going on with the promised DLC known as Heavy Rain Chronicles, fans got a chance to play one of them, called The Taxidermist, yet Quantic Dream promised 4 pieces of DLC, sadly, the rest have been put on hold.

“Chronicles are on hold as all the team is focused on HR Move,we proposed three episodes about one hour long and being focused on the background of the main characters. I thought fans would really enjoy these episodes because they explained many aspects of HR and why characters are who they are.” explained David Cage.

“Unfortunately, Sony preferred to ask us to focus on Move to support the device rather than on creating new content,” he added. “On our side, we did not want to spend more time on HR, which would have meant delaying new projects. This is a decision I can understand, and I am certainly happy we had the opportunity to play with this device and to support it, although I am certainly disappointed for fans we could not finish the story of HR the way we intended.”

Looks like Quantic Dream is really busy, not only are they working on Move, but they also have to release these DLC’s, not to mention the rumored game Horizon.
