Schematics in Dead Space Remake let you access new abilities and upgrades, which is quite important as you’ll be facing more powerful enemies as the levels go by. You can technically complete the game without getting each one, but you’re intentionally making the game harder than it needs to be. You’ll also be missing out on achievements, which are needed for 100% completion. Schematics are an important part of the game, and in this guide you’ll learn how to find them all.
All Dead Space Schematics Locations
Chapter 2 (Intensive Care)
- Pulse Module – Enter Coolant Pipelines and look directly to your left for the schematics.
- Stasis Pack – To the left of Dr. N. Brennan’s office is the Main Lab Changing Room. Inside the room, you can find the schematic on a bench to the right.
Chapter 3 (Course Correction)
- Medium Med Pack – As you’re exiting the Decontamination Room quarantine you can find the schematic in an open locker.
- Ripple Blades – After descending with the first elevator go into the room just beside the second elevator. The schematic is placed on a box.
- Flamethrower Fuel – Next to the Primary Engine panel inside the Engine Room. You’ll need to activate the engine so better get it done right away.
Chapter 4 (Obliteration Imminent)
- Intermediate Engineer Rig – While traveling towards the ADS Cannons you can spot the schematics inside the EVA Prep Room, towards the right.
Chapter 5 (Lethal Devotion)
- Line Racks – While you’re leaving the Observation Room, go through the next door instead of going down the elevator. You’ll need Level 2 Security Clearance to access Dr. B. Warwick’s office where the schematic is located on a desk.
Chapter 6 (Environmental Hazard)
- Force Energy – There is an alcove inside the Air Filtration Tower in between the first and second electricity traps. You’ll have to slow the traps with stasis in order to access the Schematics.
Chapter 7 (Into the Void)
- Contact Energy – Located inside a locked room after which is accessible after passing through Deck B: Processing. Once you’ve defeated the Necromorphs you’ll have to open a locked room. To do so, go to the broken window towards the side of the room and shoot the door lock. The schematics will be lying on the table.
- Intermediate Miner Rig – Enter the Equipment Workshop after defending Nicole. The schematic is located opposite the SOS Beacon on top of a desk.
Chapter 8 (Search and Rescue)
- Oxygen Tank – You’ll need Level 2 Security Clearance for this. Go to the Refueling Control Stations located on the fourth floor and enter the locked storage where the schematic is lying on a table.
Chapter 9 (Dead on Arrival)
- Large Med Pack – After entering the Infirmary you can find the schematics on the desk. The Infirmary is located just before the spinning lasers.
Chapter 10 (End of Days)
- Advanced Engineering Rig – Enter the Standard Bathrooms of Crew Quarters and you’ll find the schematics lying on a bench.
