Before they worked on Mutant Mudds, developers Renegade Kidd were best known for plumbing the Nintendo DS hardware to create some very unlikely games, in terms of not just what they achieved on Nintendo’s challenged handheld, but also the kinds of games that they were. The highlight of these experiments was the Dementium series of horror action shooter games, which, it now appears, they will be bringing to the Nintendo 3DS as well.

The game will be coming only to the 3DS eShop (that is, no retail release), and Renegade Kid has promised that it is working to address some of the more “brutal” elements like enemies that constantly respawn and the save system. All of this aside, they are aiming at touching up the game, and hitting a rock steady 60FPS even with autostereoscopic 3D enabled.

The game is due out on the Nintendo 3DS sometime in the second quarter of 2015. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
