That's just... wow.

Destiny 2 Forsaken

Game file sizes have gotten more and more ridiculous this generation, especially on the PS4 and Xbox One- and Destiny 2 is joining that bandwagon of ridiculousness. According to the listing for the upcoming Forsaken expansion on the PlayStation Store, Destiny 2 will require a staggering 104GB free on your hard drive for you to be able to download it.

Now, here’s the thing- the space needed to download the game is not necessarily the space the game will end up taking in the end. Games usually require more space to be downloaded (after which they are unpacked and installed), and the final game ends up taking slightly lesser space. So while Destiny 2, once installed, may not take up a full 104GB of space, it will probably still be around 85GB- which is ridiculous.

It is what it is, though. Hopefully, all that space will be worth it- Destiny 2 has been sorely disappointing so far, but Forsaken looks promising.
