The Game Awards has revealed that a new trailer for the next expansion of Destiny 2Lightfall—will be making its debut during the show. The announcement was made over Twitter, and little else in the way of details has been revealed. The Game Awards will take place on December 8 at 4:30pm PT.

Detailed earlier this year, Destiny 2: Lightfall is set for release on February 28. The expansion’s biggest features are the addition of a new Dark subclass—Strand—as well as the addition of a new zone in the form of Neptune’s Neomuna.

In terms of story, the expansion will revolve around the discovery of a new human colony that has been hidden from the Solar System for a long time, having somehow survived the Collapse. The main antagonist of the story—The Witness—is joined by the once-friendly Calus and his new Shadow Legion as they invade Neomuna, while the player character and other Guardians try to save the colony.

Destiny 2: Lightfall will also see the return of the Legendary Mode difficulty for its campaign, which provides a higher level of challenge compared to its regular difficulty in exchange for better rewards.

Destiny 2: Lightfall will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
