Destiny: Bungie Acknowledges Patrol Activities, Momentum Armor Problems, And Other Issues

A lot of issues, but no truly big ones yet.

Destiny update 2.5.0 was made available on PS4 and Xbox One recently, and while the update was a substantial one, it does appear to have introduced a whole host of issues to the game, too. Writing on their blog in their final post for 2016, Bungie acknowledged that Destiny‘s newest patch had introduced a few issues to the game, which they would work on resolving.

These issues include the Legendary Dawning Class Items not displaying Intellect, Discipline, or Strength stat values in either their tooltip or Details screen; SRL player placings not being accurate in the post Activity Rewards screen; the Entrapment and Warding Light Medals not contributing progress toward the Arsenal of Light Vanguard Elite Bounty; the Explosive Streak Medal not contributing to the Killing Spree Record; the Momentum Armor from the SRL 2015 Record Book not unlocking in the Holiday Collection for players who have already unlocked this gear; the Memory of Felwinter Iron Lord Artifact preventing players from activating their Super with the Aegis relic in the updated “The Nexus” Strike on Venus; and finally, Patrol Activities requiring players to collect items from defeated enemies not functioning reliably in the Plaguelands.

That’s a whole lot of issues, but hopefully, they are all resolved in the coming updates for Destiny. In general, they seem specific enough that most players will hopefully not run into them, but… there’s millions of Destiny players. Odds are, you’ll hear about someone or the other who encountered one or more of these problems soon enough. Destiny is available on PS4 and Xbox One.
