A group of extremely good gamers banded together in Destiny recently to utterly destroy the Boss enemy known as Crota. The Fireteam that set out to give Crota a good kicking were all presumably armed to the teeth and wiped the floor with their target in 61 seconds flat. What’s even more impressive is that they accomplish this without using any kind of exploit.

With the use of Gjallarhorn Rocket Launchers, two Swords and some ammo packs, the team succeeds in bringing him down in close to half the time of previous records. You can see in the video below that their tactic relies on more than a fair bit of accuracy and some solid team cohesion which leads to the quick victory.

Destiny’s mmo-like qualities all but guaranteed the slew of record runs that we’re seeing now, but now we just have to sit back and wait to see who beats this record and sets a new best time. Personally, I’m always more interested in seeing the speciality runs in games like this. But what do you think of this record? Could you do better?

And if that were not enough, here is a video showcasing a 1 sword Crota kill.
