Well now, this was actually somewhat painful to learn about, though it does serve as a good lesson when it comes to trust complete and utter strangers. Sony’s PlayStation 4 has that lovely little Share Play feature that a few gamers have been making use of and for the most part it seems to be going down pretty well across the board.

That is, it’s going down well if you’re not a young gamer (he does sound very young, but we don’t actually have an age) that thought it would be a good idea to let a stranger use a glitch to boost his character by way of Share Play. The young gamer, allegedly named George, walked away from his Television and returned to find something dreadful. The offender, who operates under the fantastic username of “KirmitTHEfrog”, had deleted two of George’s characters and wipes the last exotic weapons from the third.

Bungie have said that they will try and find a way to make this sort of thing “less permanent” in the future, but this time around it was all up to a lapse in judgement.
