Since Destiny’s The Taken King launched there have been a number of exotic items that have been popping up, as long as you know how to get access to them. These exotics are never all that easy to uncover but that just means they’re worth the effort when you’re able to unlock them. The latest weapon to be uncovered is a rather impressive hand cannon known as the First Curse. As is the case with many of the other exotic weapons that have been showing up for the last couple of weeks, getting this one will require you to finish out a number of different quests in a very precise order.

Luckily for you, the folks at Planet Destiny have put together a rather helpful little video which will actually walk y0u through it even better than if you had to read step-by-step through a list. The things to keep in mind is that this particular hand cannon is built by Tex Mechanica. The First Curse has 290 Attack, which means there are plenty of enemies that are going to get wiped out on just one shot.

The gun also has pretty good perks. The hand cannon has something called Dead eye, which gives a bonus to range, stability, and movement speed when aiming down its sights. The First Curse includes precision kills while aiming down sights grant increased range and stability until the next reload. The first key is that you must have a Gunsmith rank of five. Once you’ve gotten that, you can start down the path to getting the gun. Check out the video below in order to see how to get the First Curse in Destiny: The Taken King.
