Destiny Trials of Osiris Not Returning This Weekend

Destiny Trials of Osiris

Bungie’s Destiny saw Trials of Osiris, an end-game competitive PvP event with raid-tier loot, delayed following the discovery of a glitch with the Nightstalker’s Shadowshot ability. This glitch allowed Nightstalkers to have a near infinite number of Shadowshots by utilizing the perk “Quiver” and essentially spamming the first two shots continuously.

Though the perk has since been disabled with a new patch, this doesn’t mean Trials of Osiris is back on. In fact, a fan asked competitive multiplayer design lead Lars Bakken on Twitter whether the event would return this Friday. The response? “No, not yet. Hard Mode Raid this weekend.”

So for now, you’ll have to head into King’s Fall Hard mode if you want a challenge in Destiny this Friday onwards. King’s Fall Hard mode goes live at 10 AM PST on October 22nd. Be prepared though – sections will range from 300 Light to 320 Light at Oryx in terms of difficulty.

What are your thoughts on Trials of Osiris still being AWOL? Let us know in the comments.
