Destiny The Dark Below

Bungie’s Destiny has seen plenty of news in the past 24 hours. In between the new Nightfall and Weekly Heroic Strikes, not to mention the weekly refresh for the raids (with Crota’s End having been patched to fix several exploits), the Iron Banner live event has returned to the game.

The PvP focused mode involves playing Control but unlike normal Crucible modes, level differences and gear makes a difference. Opponents who are of a lower level will do less damage to you and equally levelled players will have their encounters settled by whoever has the better weapons.

Perhaps the difference between between this iteration of the Iron Banner and last month’s are the loot drops. This time around, you can pick up a level 32 Sniper Rifle or Auto Rifle as a loot drop for playing. Meanwhile, you can improve your standing in the Iron Banner and purchase a level 31 Chest, level 32 Gauntlets, level 32 Rocket Launcher and the return of the Timur’s Lash, a level 32 Hand Cannon which sports the highest impact in the game.
