Destiny Trials of Osiris

Bungie’s new DLC, House of Wolves and the Trials of Osiris multiplayer mode that comes along with it has already been teased a little bit with a new trailer. Now a screenshot has also surfaced that shows players some endgame gear they can earn. This gear has a very distinct Trials of Osiris themed look, complete with helmets that are geared to make history buffs be reminded of ancient Egyptian culture.

Bungie is also holding a Twitch event, at 11:00 AM on April 29 in order to better show off this new DLC and game mode. Trials of Osiris is a weekly 3v3 elimination event where power levels matter the most. The more your particular 3-man team wins, the better the rewards will be for those victories. Eventually, you can get to a point where the rewards will indeed be those Trials of Osiris themed body armor and weapons that are displayed in the attached screenshot.

Destiny has come under fire almost since it was released for not offering enough content up front. That has made the excitement over new playable modes and locations that much bigger. The launch of this newest DLC is being touted as quite the video game event. One of the biggest draws of the game has always been the kind of gear you can pickup by winning faceoffs with other players, by opening various vaults or by completing missions like House of Wolves. Destiny’s House of Wolves DLC, as well as the Trials of Osiris, will go live on May 19.
