Five man indie development team Grimm Bros has announced that they’ve successfully raised enough money for their RPG Dragon Fin Soup. The Kickstarter campaign raised $119,719 from 4044 backers over a period of thirty days. That’s an incredible achievement.

“The kickstarter campaign for Dragon Fin Soup has been a real roller-coaster of emotions,” said Grimm Bros CEO, Ash Monif. “Our initial expectations were blown away, by an awesome community of backers who allowed us to quickly reach our funding goal and then supersede it. We are excited that our concept hit a sweet spot with so many gamers out there and we look forward to delivering our vision in 2014.”

“Combining turn-based dungeon crawl exploration with the classic console RPG style of storytelling, Dragon Fin Soup draws inspiration from beloved childhood fairytales, with a twist,” says Grimm Bros in its press release.

Dragon Fin Soup comes out later this year for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita and PC. Stay tuned for more updates on the game.
