With Rockstar not being upfront about the status of an eventual PC port for Red Dead Redemption 2 – it’s almost definitely going to happen, but Rockstar won’t admit that just yet (to get that double dipper money, in my opinion) — it seems like perennial industry clowns Devolver Digital have decided to call them out.
In a series of cheeky tweets making a jab at Rockstar, Devolver Digital offered to port “the upcoming cowboy game” to PC for Rockstar, even offering them “PC dev kits”. If that doesn’t give the joke away, they also pointed out that they are based in Texas, and have used guns, which, they hasten to clarify, isn’t a threat, but more like something they said because they feel that knowledge of guns can be helpful when talking about development of Red Dead Redemption 2.
It’s hilarious. Everyone knows a PC port will inevitably happen, but Rockstar wants to keep pretending it won’t. At least others can laugh about the really transparent facade in the meanwhile.
While we wait for Rockstar to take Devolver up on their offer, Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on PS4 and Xbox One on October 26.
Nobody has to know, we can keep this a secret from TakeTwo. We know a person at Steam and can set you up with PC dev kits. Like this tweet if you want to talk more.

We’re based out of Texas so we are familiar with horses and chewing tobacco. Also, we own a gun. That last part isn’t threat, just that knowing about guns seems a plus for this game.
