Diablo 3 console port still under consideration

Posted By | On 15th, May. 2012

Blizzard has mentioned the console port of Diablo 3 for a long time and they have also said how they’re hiring more people for the same. It seems like Blizzard is still experimenting  with the console version as they have said that they aren’t developing it yet.

“We haven’t officially announced it, because we’re not ‘experimenting,” game director Jay Wilson told Gamasutra in an interview.

“We tell people that basically we’re experimenting, because it helps us hire people. The better people we hire, the better chance we have to actually make it.

“That’s why we haven’t kept it super secret, but we also haven’t confirmed it, because we’re not sure yet whether we think it will work, and whether we think we have the resources to do it.”

Console gamers have to wait a bit longer it seems, but there’s always the PC version to get which launched today.
