Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, the expansion for the troubled third installment in Blizzard’s storied franchise, will be hitting the PlayStation 4, Blizzard has confirmed, and it will be making its public debut at Blizzcon, where it will also be fully playable.

The Blizzcon PS4 demo will have players explore the haunted streets of Westmarch as one of our five original classes, or test their mettle as the unyielding Crusader. Blizzard is promising innovative controls for the game using the DualShock 4, and its touchpad technology, as well as some unique social features, utilizing the extent of PS4’s connectedness.

Blizzcon 2013 will start on November 8 2013, and then continue on through the weekend. Many major announcements are expected, including the next Starcraft II expansion after this year’s excellent Heart of the Swarm, the next World of Warcraft expansion, details on Blizzard’s MOBA, and maybe a look at their upcoming MMORPG.
