DICE Discusses Star Wars: Battlefront, Confirms Instant Action Will Be Returning In Some Form

They also remind us that this is a reboot, not a sequel.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be returning later this year, when DICE releases the third game in the beloved Star Wars shooter franchise. a lot of people hold fond memories of the first two games, and are eager to see just how much of those games will be returning in the new one.

One of these is the Instant Action mode, where players could select a character, a planet, and then get into some shooting with bots straight away. On Twitter, DICE confirmed that the mode will be returning in some form or the other in the new game.

They also confirmed that Missions will be in this game too, although they will be different from what players remember, and that players will still like it, taking the opportunity to also clarify that this game is not a sequel, but a reboot.

Star wars: Battlefront releases later this year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Stay tuned for more coverage.
