Fair warning, as the title suggests, there may well be spoilers in here for those of you that haven’t caught up on Game of Thrones. Peter Dinklage, Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones, was the actor chosen to give voice to the Ghost of Destiny. Whether or not you think he did it well is irrelevant at this time.
In Episode Three of Game of Thrones Season Five, named High Sparrow, Dinklage is travelling with Varys in his personal transport to meet with Daenerys Targaryen. Whilst travelling the path to meet her, Tyrion grows bored and presses his face to a viewport that is very similar to the Ghost of Destiny.
The framing of the scene does seem to put a focus on Dinklage and the window, perhaps representing a nod to his role in the popular Bungie shooter. It might just be a coincidence though, the shape would make sense from a structural design point of view, and the view holes stretch the length of the carriage, they aren’t restricted to just Tyrion’s position. Who knows?
