Good for Sony.

The PS Vita has a better online system than the PS3 wherein you can download digital versions of all the games released for the system and the PS4 will follow the same. The PS3 is different in a sense that digital games aren’t really selling as much as the Vita version.

“Digital business is the faster growing business. We do not publish numbers, but every month it’s almost a new record that the purchase on Vita is higher than the PS3, because everything is available [digitally].”

In India we have seen Game4u opening a digital section and it could be popular in a few years considering older games are available for cheap.

Yoshida told Destructoid that it will take a while for retailers to change their attitude towards digital distribution, where we saw them refusing to stock the PSP Go.

“As the industry changes, I believe retailers will change their focus as well,” he said.
