DIRT 4 Should Have Cranked Up High End PC Like Graphics On PS4 Pro, Developers Say

And on Scorpio, too.

It sounds like Codemasters’ upcoming Dirt 4 is going to be a hell of a looker. The game, which is also coming to consoles, will apparently be exploiting the high end hardware on the PS4 Pro to deliver an experience equivalent to high graphical settings on the PC version.

“We’ve got plenty of experience working with high-end PC hardware so we are confident that we’ll be able to crank up the settings on PS4 Pro,” said Chief Games Designer Paul Coleman in an interview with RedBulletin. Plus, it sounds like conceptually that should be the case with the Scorpio, too- though that’s so far away that Codemasters is understandably shying away from making a commitment. “With Scorpio it should be a similar deal – but because Scorpio is shipping a while after we are releasing Dirt 4, I can’t make any promises at this stage.”

Dirt 4 is due out later this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
