DiRT Rally Gets new Head to Head World Rallycross Mode

Plus, new cars and a new track.

DiRT Rally is getting the new Head to Head World Rallycross multiplayer mode, which allows players to race against other players, Codemasters announced today. The mode is available as part of a free update for all DiRT Rally players.

DiRT Rally’s multiplayer update is the second pack to feature content from the FIA World Rallycross Championship and will see gamers compete online in the highly demanding, super-charged and full-contact racing of one of the most skill oriented and demanding motorsport that there is. In addition to the new multiplayer mode, the update also brings several new cars and tracks:

The cars:

  • DS 3 (Newly added today)
  • Subaru WRX STI (Newly added today)
  • MINI Countryman Rallycross (Newly added today)

The tracks:

  • Hell, Norway (Newly added today)

DiRT Rally is available on PC via Steam Early Access right now. It will be getting an official launch early next year. Stay tuned for more coverage.
