One game that took a lot of people by surprise was the RPG Disco Elysium. The game originally released for and is currently available only on PC, and it’s quite the amazing title with many branching dialog options. And if you had any doubt of that, the amount of words in this script will convince you.

In response to a question on Twitter about how long the game’s script was (the user was guessing 200,000-300,000), the developers answered that it was far more than that clocking in at over 1 million words. That’s a pretty massive amount for any medium, and it goes to show just how many dialogue options this game can offer.

Disco Elysium is available now exclusively on PC. Those on PS4 and Xbox One will get their chance to try out the acclaimed RPG as the developer confirmed, which you can read about through here. We’ll keep you updated when that date is announced.
