Dragon Age Inquisition: PC Mod Brings Back Isometric View

A popular classic returns to the game.

Dragon Age Inquisition

Like every other game in existence, no game is perfect. But some of them are very damn good. Dragon Age Inquisition is a good example of a damn good modern game that, despite it’s bugs and glitches, has proven to be largely successful from a person to person point of view. Reviews are raging and gamers are gathering their party and setting out to tackle forces of evil once more.

But there’s something missing. Something that made Dragon Age Origins one of the best fantasy RPG’s of the last generation: The Isometric Camera. The pulled back camera allowed players to take in the entirety of the scene in just a simple glance, allowing for a much more in-depth tactical approach to combat.

One gamer, going by the name of “olegbl”, successfully reinstated the Isometric Camera by using the popular game cheat device, CheatEngine. Whilst not exactly a permanent mod, it does serve a purpose for those of you that are dedicated to the game. You can find the Engine, and the instructions here and here respectively.
