Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Dragon Ball FighterZ may be the new Dragon Ball hotness from Bandai Namco, but before even then, they had Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which ended up being remarkably successful. How successful? Well, Bandai Namco has announced that sales of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series have crossed 10 million units worldwide. So that’s pretty damn successful.

This number is up from the 8 million copies the series had sold as of November 2017, and the Switch port of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which launched last year and went on to do unexpectedly well, may actually have something to do with the increase in less than a year. On the other hand, fuelled by great post launch support, Xenoverse 2 has also had great legs on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so maybe it’s just done well all around, on all systems. Even more content has been promised for the game, so that popularity should continue- and who knows, maybe we might even get a Xenoverse 3, eventually.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC; Xenoverse 2 is on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
