Koei Tecmo has released a new patch for the PS4 version of the just released Dynasty Warriors 9, which introduces a new feature that owners of standard PS4 and PS4 Slim system are sure to appreciate- the ability to toggle a graphical setting in the game which prioritizes the framerate (at the expense of resolution). Previously, this was an option available only to PS4 Pro owners.

Given how bad the performance of the game has been, this will come as welcome respite to a lot of people. That apart, there are a bunch of other fixes and enhancements that the new patch brings with it to the table- but you can check out the full patch notes for yourself below. Koei Tecmo has confirmed that it is looking for similar fixes for the PC and Xbox One versions of the game, too.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

– Added “Graphics” settings that enable the frame rate to be stabilized on systems other than a PlayStation 4 Pro console.

– Improved the frame rate.

– Implemented corrections that prevented an issue in which the ending movie would not be played and clearing the game was impossible during the endings for some officers.

– Corrected a number of other minor issues.
