Dynasty Warriors 9 Releasing On Xbox One and PC In Addition To PS4 In The West

First open world entry in the series not PlayStation exclusive for its western release.

Dynasty Warriors 9 has been confirmed for a western release by Koei Tecmo. Additionally, the news of additional platforms for the game’s western release has accompanied this announcement as well. Unlike Japan, where the game was PlayStation exclusive, in the west, the game will be launching on the Xbox one and PC, in addition to on PS4.

We don’t actually have any release window for the game- however, there is reason for Xbox and PC fans to be excited for this one. Not only is it a major change for the franchise, being the first open world title in the series ever, it is also targeting 4K at 30fps, and 1080p at 60fps, on the PS4 Pro- which means, logically, the Xbox One X and PC versions of the game should end up performing even better.

Which is assuming, of course, that Tecmo won’t drop the ball on the PC port like they usually do. You can check out some screenshots for the game below.
