After the success of Interact 2012, which was e-xpress Interactive Software’s first attempt at an annual trade meet, the distributor has announced Interact 2013, a trade meet where the biggest releases by the distributor in India, which include Grand Theft Auto V, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Batman: Arkham Origins . e-xpress Interactive Software describes itself as one of the leading distributors of video games in India, and it has partnerships with major publishers like Square Enix, Warner Bros., SEGA, Take 2, Bethesda, Namco Bandai and Ubisoft.
The upcoming annual partners meet will be held August 7, and it will feature leading game retailers in India such as Reliance Digital, Landmark, Crossword, Flipkart (the Indian online retailing giant and success story) and Pepperfry . Curiously enough, Game4U was not mentioned by name in the official press release; considering its status as the largest chain of game retail stores in India, that might be a bit of a glaring omission.
