E3 2011: Silent Hill HD Collection Announced

Posted By | On 03rd, Jun. 2011

Konami have announced that Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 will be getting the HD makeup. During the Pre-E3 Konami event, it was announced that the two games will get an HD collection. No platforms were announced but we all know it will be heading to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The following was quoted during the event:

For the nostalgic, Konami has bundled Silent Hill 2 and 3 into an HD package called Silent Hill Collection. These two titles are getting the high-definition upgrade, so a whole new audience can enjoy these horror classics. No release date has been announced.

It’s a shame that Silent Hill 1 is not getting a HD remake, something which is also happening in the case of the just announced Metal Gear Solid HD collection.
