We’ve now known for over three years that starting 2023, the WRC license is going to be tied to Codemasters and EA Sports, and soon enough, we’ll have our first official look at the first game in that new line of titles.
EA Sports has confirmed on Twitter that Codemasters’ WRC game, titled EA Sports WRC, will be revealed in full later this week, on September 5. The full reveal trailer will premiere on YouTube at 8 AM PT. A short clip of what it will showcase is also attached to the tweet, offering a brief glimpse of the rally racing simulation the game will be built around. Take a look below.
Recent leaks have claimed that EA Sports WRC is set to launch sometime before November, and that it won’t be a cross-gen game (unlike all other EA Sports releases), and will instead launch only for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game’s list of Achievements has also allegedly leaked, revealing potential details on its Career mode, vehicle builder, rally events, and more.
It’s time 👀
