EA Sports issued a warning to gamers who got their hands on the brand new Xbox One today, telling them that should they get FIFA 14, the are advised not to connect two controllers to the console while FIFA 14 is booting up, otherwise the game may crash.

“Using 2 controllers to navigate the bootflow may cause a crash. To avoid this, please only use one controller during the FIFA 14 bootflow,” EA said.

“You can turn on and use additional controllers once in the FIFA Menu. The team will be fixing this issue shortly after launch.”

According to the EA support site, this issue will be addressed in the Xbox One day one update, although the update has yet to be made available. FIFA 14 is expected to be one of the most popular Xbox One release titles, and as such it would behoove EA to sort this problem out as fast as possible. Otherwise they will have a lot of angry gamers on their hands.
