EA have announced that UK fans who pre-order FIFA 12 will have the added incentive of some FIFA 12 Ultimate Team Gold packs, the exact number of these packs differing depending on which retailer you pre-order from. What is a FIFA gold pack you ask? Research suggests that the packs are essentially digital lucky bags, containing 12 items which might be players, contracts, stadiums, managers, that kind of thing.
If you order, either on 360 or PS3, from GAME or Gamestation you will receive 24 FIFA 12 Ultimate Team Gold packs (4 per month for six months). If order from anyone else you only get 18 FIFA 12 Ultimate Team Gold packs (3 per month for six months).
