EA has announced Shadows of the Damned at the Tokyo Games Show showcase today. Shadows of the Damned is a game which is being developed under the collaboration of  EA, Goichi Suda’s Grasshopper Manufacture and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. Judging by the trailer above I think Shadows of the Damned will be classical mix of Resident Evil 4 and Devil may Cry along with the creepy music of Silent Hill. The first trailer does look shiny and features a young dude who claims that he is the hunter of demons.

Shadows of the Damned is due next summer on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
