Hot on the heels of the announcement of EA’s Opening Drive event on June 4th, the cover athletes for College Football 27’s Standard and Deluxe Editions have been revealed.
There are familiar faces across the board, with Dante Moore, who’s been a solid quarterback for Oregon, joining Miami’s wide receiver Malachi Toney and running back Kewan Lacy from Ole Miss on the Standard Edition’s cover. The Deluxe Edition is equally exciting, bringing Texas linebacker Colin Simmons, Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore, and USC quarterback Jayden Maiava to the pitch.
There’s also the addition of the legendary coach Curt Cignetti to be excited about, as he’s a man who has managed to capture a lot of hearts and minds during his tenure and is sure to bring a lot of his experience to whatever College Football 27 has in store for us.
What could that be? Perhaps the ability to recreate his turnaround of Indiana University of Pennsylvania? Well, your guess is as good as ours at this point, but you can be sure we’ll tell you more about it (including the release date) when the Opening Drive event rolls around.
