EA’s biggest franchise is not Battlefield, or Need for Speed, or even Madden- rather, it is their FIFA series of video games, that has steadily grown into an essential part of the worldwide soccer experience by not only offering players authentic and licensed games, but also a service model, that directly plugs into tournaments worldwide.
FIFA sells millions every year, worldwide, so a new one is always a big deal- this year’s FIFA 16 is widely anticipated, as EA are expected to make some wide sweeping changes, now that they can finally focus the bulk of their primary attention to the PS4 and Xbox One. EA has announced that it will be revealing the first information about this year’s entry tomorrow, on May 28, on their Twitter.
The wording of the tease seems to indicate that what they announce will be something altogether new- so it won’t just be an iteration or refinement of something already in the games, but something altogether new.
As to what that could be, we will find out tomorrow. Stay tuned.
