Earth Defense Force 2025

D3Publisher announced that Earth Defense Force 2025, the next entry in the long running series, has now gone gold and will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 21, 2014 in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

In addition to this, they also announced that a mission pack titled Special Ops will be available starting the day of launch, with two more scheduled as of now:

Special Ops – Will feature 5 new missions for 2.99€/£2.39 on Xbox Live and  PlayStation Network and be available on February 21st.
Mutant Rampage – Will feature 20 new missions for 8.99€/£7.19 on Xbox Live / £7.29 on PlayStation Network and be available on February 26th.
Beyond Despair – Will feature 20 new missions for 8.99€/£7.19 on Xbox Live / £7.29 on PlayStation Network and be available on March 12th.
