eFootball PES 2020

Konami announced the next entry in their long running football series (or soccer for the American audiences), and it seems to be getting a bit of a name change. Instead of simply being called PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) 2020, it will be called eFootball PES 2020 outside Japan, and it’s hitting this September.

The announcement came via an E3 trailer that was filled with Lionel Messi. He will be the cover artist for the game as well. The game will come in a Standard Edition and a Legend Edition. The Legend Edition will be a digital-only release on all platforms. It will include the 2019 version of Ronaldinho and Messi on a 10-match loan in myClub. Preordering either version of the game digitally will net you Andrés Iniesta and 1,000 myClub coins. You can check out the trailer below.

eFootball PES 2020 will release September 10th in America and Europe and the 12th in Japan for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
