El Shaddai Director Announces New RPG The Lost Child For PS4 and PS Vita

A new game that should appeal to Persona fans.

Takeyasu Sawaki, the director and character designer of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, has announced his new game- The Lost Child, a new command based turn based RPG coming for the PS4 and PS Vita this Summer in Japan.

The Lost Child will be set in the same mythology as El Shaddai, and in fact its story will be connected to it. There will also be monster collecting elements in the game, ala Pokemon, Digimon, Yokai Watch, Shin Megami Tensei, Dragon Quest, and Persona, as you will be able to enslave Astrals (the primary enemies) and recruit them to be allies.

It has an arresting premise following high concept philosophy and supernatural phenomena- lovers of SMT and Persona should be interested. Check out a trailer for it for yourself below, and stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game. Make sure to let us know in the comments if you’re interested in picking this up when it gets localized as well.
