Elden Ring Shadow of the Edtree – All Spells Locations

Elden Ring had a vast number of spells to choose from, and a further 42 have been added in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. This is a complete listing of all new Incantations and Sorceries along with their effects and locations.

INCANTATIONS

There are 28 new Incantations to be learned in Shadow of the Erdtree:

Aspects of the Crucible: Bloom

Calls down a rain of light.

Pillage a corpse near the Great Miranda Sprout close to the Site of Grace at Ravine North.

Aspects of the Crucible: Thorns

Manifests thorny fur on the caster.

Defeat the Golden Hippopotamus at the top of the lift in the Shadow Keep Main Gate to acquire this incantation.

Bayle’s Flame Lightning

Transform into a humanoid dragon.

Defeat Bayle The Dread and then be presented with a choice between Bayle’s Flame Lightning and Bayle’s Tyranny incantations.

Bayle’s Tyranny

Transform into a humanoid dragon.

Defeat Bayle The Dread and then be presented with a choice between Bayle’s Tyranny and Bayle’s Flame Lightning incantations.

Divine Beast Tornado

Conjures up a damaging tornado.

Defeat the Divine Beast Dancing Lion of the North East near the Site of Grace at Temple Town Ruins.

Divine Bird Feathers

Releases a flurry of feathers.

Pillage a corpse in the waters of the lake at Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

Dragonbolt of Florissax

Brings down lightning to buff the caster and allies.

Defeat Bayle The Dread while making particular choices.

Speak with the Dragon Priest at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion.

Electrocharge

A lightning incantation that buffs the caster.

Pillage a corpse deep within the Fog Rift Catacombs.

Fire Serpent

Calls forth a pursuing flame to strike at enemies.

Within the Shadow Keep, starting from the Site of Grace at Storehouse, Back Section.

Furious Blade of Ansbach

Summons a bloodflame blade to pierce enemies.

Complete Sir Ansbach’s quest while making particular choices.

Retrieve from his corpse.

Ghostflame Breath

A Dragon Communion incantation that transforms the caster into a fire-breathing dragon.

Trade Dragon Hearts at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion to acquire this incantation.

Giant Golden Arc

Release a large, damaging golden arc at enemies.

Retrieve from a chest in the Ruins of Unte.

Golden Arcs

Release multiple damaging golden arcs at enemies.

Retrieve from a chest in the vicinity of Moorth Ruins.

Heal from Afar

Heal allies from a distance.

Pick this incantation up off of the ground in a cave around Rauh Ruins.

Knight’s Lightning Spear

Fire multiple spears of lightning at enemies.

Find this incantation deep within Scorpion River Catacombs.

Land of Shadow

Summons forth a golden hailstorm.

Trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold using Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower.

Light of Miquella

Summons a pillar of light to destroy enemies.

Trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold using Remembrance of a God and a Lord.

Midra’s Flame of Frenzy

Summons fire-breathing Midra’s Lord head.

Trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold using Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame.

Messmer’s Orb

Summons an explosive orb to launch at enemies.

Trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold using Remembrance of the Impaler.

Minor Erdtree

Summons a healing minor Erdtree.

Retrieve from among the flowers in Shaman Village.

Multilayered Ring of Light

Summons a ring of golden light to damage enemies.

Defeat the Misbegotten Crusader in the Stone Coffin Fissure.

Pest-Thread Spears

Creates two spears to launch at enemies.

Near the Site of Grace at Church of the Bud, Main Entrance.

Rain of Fire

Summons a fire of rain from a cloud of flame.

Defeat the Fire Knight across the bridge near the Site of Grace at West Rampart.

Roar of Rugalea

Transforms the caster into a roaring, great red bear.

Defeat Rugalea the Great Red Bear in the woods near the Site of Grace at Ravine North.

Rotten Butterflies

Summons a swarm of rotting butterflies.

Trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold using Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud.

Spira

Summons a damaging spiral of light under enemies.

Find on an altar in Belurat, Tower Settlement.

Watchful Spirit

Summons a guardian spirit for the caster.

Defeat Divine Beast Dancing Lion and speak with Hornsent Grandam while wearing its head.

Wrath from Afar

Cast a golden shockwave that staggers enemies.

Find on the ground in the vicinity of the Site of Grace at Storehouse, Loft in Shadowkeep.

Casts blades of rock drawn from the ground itself.

Trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold using Remembrance of the Wild Boar Rider.

Cherishing Fingers

Summons a shield of fingers to ward off all manner of incoming projectiles.

Complete Ymir’s quest and find in the graveyard west of Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

Fleeting Microcosm

Creates a brief but massively explosive microcosm under an enemy.

Conjures three tracking glintblades to strike at enemies.

Pillage a corpse within Castle Ensis.

Glintstone Nail

Fires off a singular magic nail at enemies.

Gravitational Missile

Creates a missile that pulls enemies towards it and then explodes.

Mantle of Thorns

Summons thorns that encase the caster.

Defeat Lesser Ulcerated Spirit in the Shadow Keep.

Mass of Putrescence

Summons an explosive mass of putrescence that can be thrown at enemies.

Pillage a corpse near the Site of Grace at Fissure Waypoint in Stone Coffin Fissure.

Miriam’s Vanishing

The caster can vanish into thin air and appear at a location of their choosing.

Vortex of Putrescence

Calls forth explosive spears of putrescence around the caster and a flood of ghostflame.
